Security Requirements at Esperance PortNew security measures were introduced at Esperance Port in accordance with the requirements of the Maritime Transport Security Regulations 2003 as of July 1 2004. Security Regulated PortEntry to the Port and particularly the berths is restricted to those persons with a legitimate reason for entry. Access is controlled by electronic access cards. All access gates are monitored by CCTV backed up by security patrols. Unauthorised entry to a restricted area constitutes an offence. Illegal entry attracts a penalty of $10,000 under the Maritime Transport Security Regulations 2003. INDUCTIONS and access cardsAny person who requires a port Access Card or MSIC will be required to complete an online induction. The online induction test can be found on the link below.
