Waste Management

Southern Ports Authority - Port of Esperance aims to be compliant with the International Martime Organisation (IMO) International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL). This is done through a variety of waste collection services, transporters and treatment facilities (some remote from Esperance). Costs for these services are the responsibility of the shipping agent and the client and are charged additional to berthing fees.
